San Diego State running backDonnel Pumphrey broke the NCAA FBS all-time rushing record of 6,397set by Wisconsin's Ron Dayne from 1996 to 1999 during Saturday's 34-10 win over Houston in the Las Vegas Bowl: Pumphrey needed 108 yards entering the game and broke the mark during the fourth quarter with a 15-yard rush.
